  • My husband and I had a blast. We have a great group of neighbors. I am bummed that we are going to be away for the next fun event! DAMN!
  • I wish I could have been there! I hope nobody talked about my mother.
  • Im sorry you didn't make it - I was hoping to meet ya. I thought we can do a whistling rendition of the Mr. Softee song 8)
  • Ditto - Mr. & Mrs. 9flights both loved the event - even though we didn't win anything. It was great to meet everyone and I hope to see ya'll in the neighborhood!

Of course, it just occured to me that now I can't go to Met foods in my pajamas anymore because I meet see someone I know! Ack!
  • This was a great idea. I've already started reaping the benefits of making our virtual community a real one- I ran into our illustrious site administrator today while out for a bike ride. This was exactly what I was hoping for when I went to the happy hour! I think it's worth it to have to get dressed to go out in the morning (or afternoon) in exchange for the sense of community.

Kudos, Daily Heights! I'm looking forward to the next event.
  • Subject: Fun event

So, when is the next Daily Heights fun event?
  • Go take a look at this and let me know what you think.

  • Oh man, that's hilarious!
  • Any chance for an air hockey tournament at Brownstone Billiards as a future event?

(In Special Ed voice): Air hockey! Air hockey! Air hockey! YAY!!!!!!!!
  • Air hockey is a good idea, but one sporting event at a time, eh?

I haven't publicized the Rock, Paper, Scissors event yet, so now might be a good time to sign up. If you want to do a SPECIAL ADVANCE REGISTRATION, only for special readers of this very special post, paypal $6 per entrant to [email protected].

If you are confused by the use of the word "paypal" as a verb in the preceding paragraph, you can simply write to me at [email protected] with "I want to sign up!" in the subject line.
  • Rats, I have class thursday evenings. The RSP event is the day of my final.

I was worried though that if I did go to the last event Sine would pull my cap down and kick me in the balls.
  • I dont know why you are worrying Captain - we have Park Man and Isa to protect us :)
