DH Festivus party -- 12/15 at Soda

Soda knows we'll be there for Festivus. (horray)
while there is no exchange of gifts, what should we bring/do, aside from what has already been enumerated on the board?

I suppose we can't bring mulled wine. sad.

we could ask them to whip up a special batch for us--we're so good to them, it's hard to imagine they wouldn't

Thanks for the http://www.festivuspoles.com plug. We've tried to be very careful as to that very fine line of providing a pole but not being overly commercial about it. Frankly, we never went into this project for the money. We most likely will lose money on this overall but we have had a lot of fun and many laughs As a Brooklyn College alum, I know Brooklyn is the perfect place for a Festivus celebration.

The main reason I'm posting is that the New York Post has contacted me and they are looking to talk to people in NYC who are celebrating Festivus. Looks like you guys are doing it tomorrow night and he's got a Friday morning deadline for the Sunday edition. I'm coming straight from work, as soon as I can get free. our party last night has left me with a blinding headache and I need relief asap. I can be at soda in, hopefully, 8 hours.

I am also planning on dining at Soda, but will probably arrive more like 7/7:30.

I'm crawling out of the hibernation I've been in since Friday and am hoping to make it around 7. I too will be eating dinner.

That does sound cool! These sorts of things tend to go on until too late really. ..so drop by and we might be in the same old spot.

Hooray for Stacey! I love my yarn--when I got home I could see the colors in good light and they are very, very pretty. And that book of patterns has some really nice ones--lots of different styles of wraps and shawls. Thank you!!!
