I don't think they're Greek... if raw is talking about Oko or Yogomonster (is that what it's called)... they serve not-too-sweet unflavored (i.e. plain) frozen yogurt which may remind some of the Greek plain yogurts (like Fage), but I don't think they actually have anything to do with Greece.

I love fage too - 2% variety with a little squeeze of honey and fresh fruit mixed in - like blackberries, or blueberries, or raspberries. Yummy!

on Al Di La: i'll admit to not getting it the first time, a few years ago. it took a few times and, specifically, the greens gnocchi and sauteed red chard stems, to make me get it. i more than get it now.

Santa Fe Grill: I don't know if "overrated" is the word. i don't really hear anyone referring to it as anything more than "average," which is exactly what it is. you could do far better, and you could do far worse.

Blue Ribbon Sushi: the rolls are absolutely nothing special, but the fresh sushi is to die for.

on Lobo: i heard the margaritas are great, but i don't think that even the americanized tx-mex they promise is up to the level of what they seem to be getting to. the descriptions on the menus are great, but somehow it all barely rises above Taco Bell to me.

eatin, pissin, and shittin: there are actually threads on all three currently on this forum. looks like you got us pegged pretty well.

Al Di La also makes amazing Swiss chard, which I had no idea I liked until I tried my date's dish

Blue Ribbon is overpriced, but come on, the food is wonderful. My favs, the burgers (not overpriced) and their rib appetizer (not overpriced).

The most overrated restaurant in Park Slope is Applewood - just garbage. If you like to spend too much money on bland food and leave hungry then Applewood is your place.

Agree Blue Ribbon is good, but overpriced. Wholeheartedly disagree with Applewood. It was the best meal I've had in the slope hands down (that's comparing it to a lot of places). From start to finish everything was delicious, and the service was very nice. Just wish it was a bit more affordable. It's easily better than Blue Ribbon.

I think the thing with Al Di La is that it's subtle. That's what I get from the time I went and from some reviews I've read. It's a very delicate blending of flavors and subtle complexity.

mostly mediocre and, at the very least, inconsitent? yes. i don't know about "overrated," though.

for the most part, every Italian place in the Slope not named "Al Di La" or "Tempo" is barely even on the map.

here's an overrated Italian place in the Slope: Elementi. Even Time Out New York said it would give Al Di La a run for its money. i took the bait and ate there. it firmly belonged in the middle of the pack with the rest of them (Sette, Sotto Voce, Scottatido, etc.)
