No, I'm the middle child. We were five girls and then two boys. My sister Edith passed away in 1984.

Your mother and father had some rough times but they always seemed to really like each other and were very happy together. They were about the friendliest people you would want to meet.

And with the pleasant thoughts of your Mom & Dad, I am saying goodnight for now. Glad you didn't have to work late. It is freezing here and I know that will put me right to sleep. Bye for now.

Janet, even through the rough times we always had a close family bond and that helped us through everything. It's just sad they all passed away so young.

Patsy: I like the picture of the full moon. There will be a full moon again in a few days and I am hoping to be out on the water at night then, somewhere (in a kayak, of course). Just me, the moon and the bats.

Today, I took off a few hours from work and went paddling. Then tonight, I practiced my kayak rolling in the pool at St. Joseph's College.

I would have been a very happy seal. Love to be wet even in the cold time of the year (though it felt damn good to get warm dry clothes on afterward).

Actually off today due to holiday.Body gets up at 5am every day, must have a alarm clock inside me, go figure.
