I was in Bklyn today and passed the old neighborhood, shown my grandaughter my old house, seen the windows on house two doors away you were referring too, very nice.

There is a danger of politicizing this blog. If everybody wants to hear from a variety of people from the old neighborhood to talk about the old neighborhood, perhaps you should keep it neutral when it comes to issues such as the war in Iraq, Jesus Christ, immigrants (what our parents or grandparents were), English-only, and so forth. Otherwise, there will be a small group of like-minded people talking to each other about these issues and posting banners and pictures trumpeting their cause. It's better to never talk about religion or politics in company in order to avoid offending people who don't believe what you believe.

I don't know how to respond to that Marilyn since no one really got into the election thing on here. I assume the majority was not for Obama, but that was just the impression I go since it really wasn't discussed.
As far as my anti Muslim sentiments go, I don't really think I am offending any muslims on this blog. If I am, I will not do it again.
As far as Jesus goes, most of went to either or both St. John's church or school, so I believe most are Catholic and believe in God and do not mind words or pictures of him.

For the most part Politics and Religion are not a main subject, just people's thoughts on occasion.
