How is everyone today...woke up feeling like shit, have absoulutly no energy.....am not cleaning today....but I did feel like cooking so me and Bobby went shopping and we made eggplant parm....it is in the oven right now.... I made five big eggplants, OMG I have two trays, guess I will have enough for a few nights and some for my mom....

Going to relax while it is in the oven....enjoy the rest of the day. Peek back later

Been noticing a lot about books on the blog. My favorite authors are Jack Higgins-My #1. Have read just about all his books. Stuart Woods- Have read just about all of his and he has written close to 50 books. Harlen Coben-He includes many familiar areas in the NJ/NY area in his stories. Brad Thor-young writer who has first hand knowledge on terrorism and writes stories about it. He will scare the hell out of you but his books are up to date with current events.

Anthony- Your tribute to Franny's dog reminded me of a story about the dog we raised. His name was Ralph. One winter night I took Ralph for his walk after dinner. (of course this is the walk the kids SWORE they would do when we agreed to adopt him). It was dark and while crossing a parking lot to get to a woods that I usually brought him, I slipped on a patch of ice. I went down on my back and hit my head on the pavement. I did not pass out but figured I better lay still for a couple of minutes to be sure I was okay to get up and walk. While I was lying there Ralph got impatient,lifted his leg and peed on me lying there. I guess altogether I was out with him for at least 45 minutes. When I got home no one, not Carol,not Billy, Not Jayne, not Danny (the last three are my kids) had missed me. Normally I would only be out with Ralph for 20 minutes.

We lost poor Ralph after 13 years and I had to sign the "Put to sleep" papers. I felt awful so Franny I know what you are going through. We never got another dog and in fact where we live now you can not have one unless it is a guide Dog. :silent:

Warren.....Stuart Woods is another of my favorites along with Micheal Connelly. I'll have to try some books by the other author's you mentioned. The story of you and the dog had me laughing..... :-)

Franny so sorry to hear about Frasier.

ANTHONY THANK YOU FOR LETTING US KNOW ABOUT FRANNY.

Franny.....Iam so very sorry you have to go through this pain of losing your precious Frazier ... I know how much your babies meant to you!

I for one dont! I cant figure out why they all jump on eachother and why it takes a whole team to get 1 little football!

Warren ...love the story of you with your beloved dog. That is something my dogs would do to me!

I remember my cousin from Canada was staying over my house and my dogs pee'd in her slippers before she got out of the shower......LOL. She still remembers it till this day!

I also had to take my 18yo Rocky to the Vet Friday. He isnt eating and his liver and kidney levels are high.... I hate to go through this pain also! I hate feeling helpless....

Morning All - wow 2 days w/sunshine and warmer temps. I thinking there's spring in the future. It'll be short-lived but it's nice for the moment.

Didn't win my super bowl pool - oh well, there's always next year. I don't understand how people watch football - it's so boring. A 1/4 is about 15 mins long and it takes an hour to play.

Don't have a favorite author (although I've read practically everything by James Patterson) - reading a very good book now - The Final Days of Ptolemy Gray by Walter Mosley.

Well, I better start to work (not that I'm in the mood - have a backache and am moving slow).

1st of all-Debbie & Patsy. I left the room during half time but unfortuneatly I could hear the God awful noise those people called music. IT WAS AWFUL!!!Also, please teach the girl who murdered the National Anthem what the words are and how to sing it without sounding like a hound dog in heat!!! #-o

Karen If it were not for Football & Baseball I would through the TV out. Football is #1 & Baseball #2 in my book. The amount of shows I watch could fit on one hand and NONE of them are on the Network stations except Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy. :bounce:

Hi everyone-quick typeby-Warren-have to agree with u..that music was awful..I was getting a headache! Yes the beginning song was botched!! Did she ever hear of the word "practice"? Patsy-I was disappointed in the first half of the game..thought it was boring..and I didn't like the commercials either (sometimes I like them better than the game).. I must be getting old..wasn't too interested this year..watched Justin for 10 hours on Saturday-was so tired yesterday but ate dinner with my 2 friends than came home after the game & went to bed..well, talk to everyone tomorrow...Patsy-how is Helen ok? Doesn't come on anymore..

Beautiful weather today...Nice change for us...Hope it stays that way..

i was just talking to Lori and we have a meeting and neither one of us is going. she said I feel so tired. I don't want to do anything and I open this up and now I don't feel so bad. We feel the same way sluggish.
