Hi, I am older then you all and lived down a few blocks from most of you. I think it is great that you were able to pull a reunion together and I congratulate you for pulling it off. I lived on 12th St between 5th & 6th Aves in the 30's 40's & 50's. I started a thread looking for old acquaintences in the "Slope" and hope I hear from some of my old friends.

Janet, Old Goat is one of the Carson brothers who lived on 12th ST between 5th & 6th Aves from the 30's through the 50's. The only name I have seen in your entire thread that looks familiar is a young lady named Broadbeck. (pardon the spelling). I believe she was part of the "Brown" family with whom we had a great deal of contact in the 12th Street Reformed Church. It has a different name these days. Since I see no other familiar names or streets mentioned, that is why I started my search on the "Slope" blog.
