GOOD MORNING ALL. HOW IS EVERYON TODAY? I AM HOIUSE CLEANING, MY USUAL SATURDAY MORNING ROUTINE. (THIS BLOWS LOL )

THEY ARE HAVING THEIR ANNUAL RAG A MUFFIN PARADE TODAY ON 3RD AVE HERE IN BAY RIDGE (STARTS AT 11:30) AND TOMORROW FOR ANYONE WHO IS INTEREDTED, IT IS THE BAY RIDGE ANNUAL FESTIVAL STARTS ON OVINGTON AND ENDS ON 94TH ST.(25 BLOCKS LONG) GREAT FOOD (I ESPECIALLY ENJOY THE SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS AND ONIONS ) LOTS OF SHOPPING TO BE HAD, JEWELRY, CLOTHES, ETC. HOPE THE WEATHER IS NICE. HOPE TO SEE SOME OF YOU GUYS THERE

Twiggy, you know I love you. What a great time we had. It was amazing to see how many people were able to make it. Sharing memories with you, and so many others (you know who you are) I haven't seen in years just made my day. I loved the slideshow. I will send you my pictures once I download them off my camera.

Thanks again to all of you for putting this Reunion together. I can't wait to see what you have in store for next year.

I just saw your slide. My God, you did a beautiful job. Getting everyone's pictures together and doing all you did must have been a full time job. I'm sure a job of love. That's what we feel for you.........Thank you from our hearts for a day we will never forget. Hopefully we will be able to do this again.

Hi Old Goat.... What a small world. Who would have thought I'd find someone from my old Church, 12th Street. Yes I am Debbie Brodbeck. My mother is Bunny and my Aunt is Emma Zmijewski, our soprano soloist. My cousins are Laura Zmijewski, Ronnie and Diane Cohen,who we just lost this past January, Barry Chester and Robbie and Gail Zwycewicz and their mother Lucille. I think everyone knew my Great-grandmother/father Emily and Herbert Brown(Nana and Papa) Our family had been having reunions for about 16 years in Long Island at Lucille's house. Mad Kerstein even attended a few. So now that I have told you my life story what Carsen are you. I know you came from a large family as well and some Carsen Bros. were in the choir. I must tell Laura . I was just on the phone talking to her about the reunion. So get back with the info. Bye for now. Debbie

Hi Debbie, Small world indeed! I knew just about every name you listed. All the Carson's sang in the Choir. I am Warren, the youngest. My sister Dorothy lives on the East Coast of Florida. My Brother Bob passed away two years ago and Dave is in an assisted living place in Tarpon Springs FL. I believe the last time I saw any of the Browns was Lucille at my Sister and Brother in Law Clyde( now deceased) 50th anniversary on Long Island. Just a side note. Many,many years ago on New Years eve we would go and visit friends for a quick New Year wishes drink. Ma Brown gave me my first glass of wine in my life. I was about 15 or 16 and boy did that taste good. You also has an Uncle Herbie who was killed in the Tank Corps in WWII in the battle of the Bulge. Emma & Dorothy were the so called "lead" singers in the Choir. Bob sang Tenor and Dave & I sang Bass. Your Nana Brown (Who we all called Ma Brown) and my Mother were very close and were together at all Church affairs. Your Great Gandfather kept the Church warm in the winter and clean all the time as Sexton. Your Mother Bunny was one of the stars of our 12th St Shows.

HI EVERYONE,
IT IS AFTER 2 AM AND WE JUST GOT HOME. JUDY AND I WENT TO THE HILTON HOTEL NOW WAIT JUST A MINUTE JUST FOR DRINKS WITH TOMMY SNIEGOCKI AND HIS WIFE MICHELE, ANTHONY MAURIELLA (ANIMAL)AND HIS WIFE LORRAINE. Mike had to work so judy and i were dates lol that place was jumping. The music was great. Anyway we are still connecting since the reunion. I had so much fun watching Anthony (animal) dance to saturday night fever. Photos to follow if you want [email hidden] lol
That park slope reunion has really started something big and i am enjoying every minute of it. BY THE WAY TWIGGY ANTHONY ATE 6 HOT DOGS AND WE DID NOT EVEN HAVE ONE AT THE REUNION. love terry

Terry: You must be exhausted you party animal. I got one hot dog at our party and it was delicious. I should have put an apron on and served the dogs and egg creams to everyone to make sure they got one.

Okay, I think Charlie Siciargo looks EXACTLY the same! No shit. It was amazing. Another Animal as well.

I'm going to my semi italian market (here in Florida). I think I'm going to make some stuffed baby eggplant sandwiches. You cut your egglplant in slices. The stuffing is soaked bread, black olives, and the usuals.......grated cheese, egg, parsley, basil, salt & pepper. Stuff your eggplant, make a sandwich. Fry lightly on both sides. Place in a baking dish, add sauce, mozz, grated cheese and bake!
