The Rant Rave thread

Basically, a place for you to dump your rants and/or raves. Consider this a sort of livejournal for the lounge- you want to get it off your chest, but maybe it doesn't merit and entire thread. I'll start

Rave- Rachels allowing you to share burritos, because those things are huge and I'll still tip for two meals even if I only order one.
Intervention on-demand which is my favorite thing about having cable
The scents in which Ikea manufactures their candles...subtle and nice without giving me a migraine.

Rant- People clipping me in the heels with their shopping cart...i mean seriously, you're 45 and you haven't learned how to drive a cart in C-town?
The F train, which I love but has really fucked me over lately.
Rude people who think they can touch my body without asking (and I don't mean accidentally rubbing up against. I mean an obvious poke or prod because they're curious about my piercings or tattoos. If you have a question...ask. No touching.)

I did not go to beast- I had to help my best friend shop at ikea for her new apt (oh the joys of having a car.) Truth be told shes basically the most important person to me ever soooooo I help her out whenever she asks. Hence the Rachels burrito sharing.

And Vidro- you need a good bff. Aforementioned best friend has totally cared for me while I had a cold. Movie marathons are a must for best friends!

I dont think cablevision has ondemand...?

It does have a bunch of OnDemand Channels, I just don't know all of them...

Rant: I just got home from work, so I totally missed the Beast outing.

OMG! I never looked that far up the dial. Now (on top of all of my DVR stuff, my Netflix, my Roku box, the HBO/SHO on demand I am behind on) I have another reason to stay in on a cold day.

Payment in the form of booze = when will I see YOUR episode?

What gross stuff and people stood on line for that crap! The regular comme des garcons line is very innovative, but this was not up to snuff.

Rant: over the shoulder readers on the subway

Bring your own reading material and don't get annoyed when I suddenly stop reading my magazine and pull out a (gasp) book.

Rave: Some sort of coconut mojito at Rosa Mexicana.

Rant: After a couple mojitos I missed the secret Friday Ramen spot last night. They have PORK BELLY.

I found out about Brooklynian from ML via you, Mamacita, so it was the other way around. I'm Tom on ML, but that name was already taken here.

Rave: I just turned on VH1 and am watching Trading Spouses. It's a hot mess. My rave is that watching this crap makes me feel a lot less fucked up than I think I am. :-)

Everyone was great at Barette last night, and that pepper martini reminded me of my tequila macho days. I'm always up for drinking coffee, beer or otherwise. Except when I'm sleepy.

Rave: Tequila + habañero + lime = Tequila Macho, goes great with achiote braised pork ribs otherwise known as my lame and lazy version of cochinita pibil.

Not in the least. My Ex-GF went to Parsons, he spoke at her commencement and I got to meet him. Totally everything you would expect and more.
