rave: stella has learned that jumping between the chair and the ottoman means that the ottoman will roll around the floor with her on it. She's done this about 5 times in a row and is all poofy with big eyes. she's cracking me up

rant: again with the rain :-(

Rant: Rain inhibiting my ability to waterproof the fountains I've been working on.
Rave: My kindly dr. giving me good drugs for my migraines
Rant: seemingly skinny people who walk like they weigh 500 lbs.

That sucks even more! Did you show up in your gardening clothes? I'm guessing you didn't, but I have to say the bf and I've adopted the dress your best approach for apartment hunting and flying and seem to have fewer problems and warmer welcomes than when we went in what we actually wore to our casual jobs.

Oh, and I agree with whoever said maybe it's a sign. A flakey LL up front might be even worse long term.

I've been in some places that have REEKED of cats - but it was about 10 cats that didn't use a litter box. How two properly cared for cats are a problem, I just don't get it.

Rave: apartment found, half a block from my current one. Nice and big, stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, great floors, room for all my crap. Sign lease in the morning. No outdoor space though.

Rant: It's not cheap! Now I'm going to be broke like everyone else!

Ha. Thanks for offering Mougar's services. Yeah, I really (really) have to hire movers. I have waaaay to much shit to impose that on anyone. But I can definitely move a lot more than I thought by myself, like the breakable stuff.

Well, try and negotiate the price down since they really only have to move the heavy shit. Mougar can carry the other stuff.

it's nice when you are moving close by as you can just make a bunch of trips with the food and clothes, etc. without having to be careful about packing....a bunch of milk crates and you can keep everything on hangers.

More importantly, when is the "I'm moving come celebrate my deck and flowers now and drink all the booze in hard to move half a block botthes?" How about the 27th?
