Rave: I remembered to go to the JJ Byrne green market (it's on Sundays) and got pretty flowers and some eats.

Rant: when I was there (around 10am), most vendors were just starting to set up.

Rave: I think we're dead. Time is going really really really really slow

Rave: some monk parakeets are spending tons of time in the backyard trees of our block. They were here off and on all summer but the last couple of weeks they've been here everyday (you can hear them) so I'm hoping they might be building a new nest out there! I love seeing lots of tropical looking birds out my window.

Rave: my cold is gone!! Finally feel healthy again, also thanks to Papi Chulo who didn't let me out of the house despite my protests. Plus he made tons of hot sauce and jalapeno spiked food all week :-)

Flexi you should try this hot sauce, it's the best I've had in a while. Plus it's a cute green color, hot but versatile, you can add it to any dish and brighten the flavor.

Did you see her new video (pets thread)? She IS free....free to roam my house, and my yard...just not to get squashed by cars or (b)eaten by other animals.
