Rant: My last day in the D.

Rave: This spa in Manhattan, and the hot woman in front of it. (I always fall for the ones with the blurry faces...)

Whynot Spa: Where Manscaping goes to new levels :P

Rave: Was productive today. Bathroom bleached and scrubbed. Kitchen floor is next. Kittah was harassed and woken up to get brushed.
Potatoes are cooked and chilled to make breakfast for dinner (AKA hashbrowns, bacon and eggs around 7pm). Am I the only one that craves breakfast in the evening?

Mama, I think breakfast is much better as dinner. French toast, waffles, pancakes and all those things sugary foods plus bacon are just too heavy for breakfast but perfect for a lazy evening.

Rave: hot chocolate

Rant: I got the cooties.




I think it's a cold.Got it from my niece cuz she was hacking on me while I was visiting.I felt the sickness a little while I was there, but I was kind of okay till this evening.

Coughing up mucus...body is achy....head hurts....feeling dizzy....very thirsty, but not hungry...just wanna sleep all day.....feeling hot and cold.

Blood in my nose snot. Eww! lol!




Rave: I'll be better soon. Raw garlic ,hot tea w/honey and homemade chicken soup.

RANT: Dub pies "temporarily has no delivery"! : ( And it's way to freaking cold for me to do that long walk. Now I will starve.

Rave: weekend!

Rave: lidoderm patches (lidocaine). I did not expect so a noticeable result.

Rant/Rave: the working of the patch supposedly confirms nerve damage (could be good since the doc thinks that will heal with more time).

^ good to know. I am seeing a neurologist in 10 days for possible nerve damage on my foot. If you had an EMG/NCS (nerve conductor study), let me know what to expect

I did not have a nerve study.

Based on the current state (good stability but pain at all times) of my ankle, and specifically where some of the pain is, the doc thinks I "pulled" a nerve in the fall so he gave me these patches to put on the spot. He said the nerve will just take much longer to heal and this will help with the pain in the meantime.

I put the first patch on last night (12 hours on, 12 off) and woke up for the first time in a very long time without pain. I could walk down the stairs like before I got hurt, ie like a normal person. I'm optimistic at this point.

^ nice. Glad it's giving you relief. I have constant pain in my foot/ankle, so I might ask the neurologist to try some of those
