Yeah, Beaver was not happy with the first draft of my response. Need to stop posting while drinking wine.

Rave: using credit card miles in March to buy plane ticket home for turkey and give to mom for mother's day.

Rant: once home, having to hang high heels up in lieu of barn boots and perform all manner of disgusting chores in the snow while sneezing from being allergic to alpaca poop and having mom insist on looking at some alpaca balls and proclaim them beautiful.

Rave: cooking in a kitchen bigger than my whole apartment.

Rant: missing the dog show because I was cooking.

Rave: mom discovered that Costco sells wine.

Rant: mom wouldn't let me drink any until the sun went down so I wouldn't get drunk after an unfortunate incident last year.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm ok it involved a pretty bloody incident with a food processor, leading to mom doing barn chores alone while I "nursed" my dad with Manhattans, which eventually turned into shots.......... and by the time mom came back inside, we were like a comedy act in the kitchen alternately screaming out cooking directions, drinking wine and doing the tango with my brother's beagle ior the empty bottle of Maker's........ and it was 4pm.
