Visiting NYC with unlimited money

depending on how truly unlimited the money is and how the kids deal with car rides, how about an overnight at one of the closer-by ski mountains - butternut in massachussetts or ski sundown in CT? my dad took me to "skeewee" when i was 4, i think. (and gave up skiing when i was 12 after realizing how deadly it can be. but it was fun while it lasted.)

Other close-by ski areas include Camelback in the Pennsylvania Poconos, and Mountain Creek in New Jersey.
