    Your right. If an employee simply is terminated bacause he/she is not good at the performing the tasks the job demands, the employer is forced to pay unemployment.

    Subject: Unemployment? Quit and collect! (with caution)

    I quit my corporate job in 2005 after a year of problems with my new boss. I filed for unemployment and successfully won. You *can* quit your job and collect unemployment, but you must give very good evidence that you were justified in doing so (I believe 'hostile work environment' was the one that I used). Remember: it's called 'Unemployment INSURANCE' for a reason, and you pay into getting it indirectly whenever you *are* employed. Good luck!

    No, I am not an attorney. I know this information from a job in human that I use to have.
