khuntiennangthat's scary. they are lucky to have such pilot. did you guys see his resume? and lucky (or may be unlucky considering the potential risk) that it happened in hudson, where there are ferries around to offer quick help. -

Kidding. :P
Once again the world sees how NYC heroes handle an emergency crisis.
Thanks to all the men and women that put their lives on the line everyday.
They did an amazing job. Plus the operators of the nywaterway ferry boats!
Hazaah! Hazaah! Hazaah!
I'm glad I live here. I feel safer then anyplace else.

mjl83lukasi would agree with you God. The response crews did a fantastic job of acting quickly and getting people to safety. I work on W 34th st and heard the sirens for what felt like 20-30 minutes and wondered what happened...went to cnn website and couldn't believe what i was reading.
Also, i agree RE: the pilot, crew and rescue teams should all have a couple rounds on the City...amazing job. -
longtimesloperthe pilot is an f'ing hero! -
ringrunnerThe whole world should line up and make dinner for the pilot and crew. Every night, they should never have to cook again. -
godCaptain C.B. Sully Sullenberger!
