I wonder if people are conflicted on this like I am ... I don't want this place to be over-moderated but when I read something like what Danny Hellamn posted I wish there was more immediate moderation and elimination on Brooklynian.

Obviously the idea of dog-eating upsets you, but think about it: you'll eat a pig, so why not eat a dog? Is it because dogs are friendlier and cuter? If that's the case, ugly, anti-social people should be eaten, too.

I went to an Italian restaurant on Saturday night and I just know they served dog because the menu had Fettucine Alfido on it.

Would it reduce our country's carbon footprint if, instead of burying our beloved pets, we ate them?

If not our beloved pets, what about the strays which are otherwise completely wasted (as protein, that is) by the Humane Society and other collectors of strays?

Traditional pig farming (and I fully recognize that industrial pig production is not the same thing) is a wonderful and environmental practice, turning garbage into delicious food.
