in any case, quarterly festivus ... how about we discuss the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse? this past HH a few people pegged their pants - maybe we could all wear our ugliest outfits ever?

I like the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse one. refresher courses never hurt.

hmm. I think that theme would only work for you. refresher course it is! if Carnivore really shows up, he can be our expert speaker. if not, all the treo owners can google key terms like "the shakes" and "OD".

yeah probably. katebklyn saw me on the street last week in pink and almost walked right past me.

It's not so much the literal meaning as much as the romance, the adventure, the Papa Hemingway-style machismo the word suggests. Which of us hasn't stood in the gusting vento de carne and imagined standing atop a mountain in Catalonia, dusky maiden under one arm, armful of lynx hides under the other, a cigar jammed between clenched teeth, spewing clouds of individuality into the hazy summer air?

Kind of like if a peppermint patty mated with a chorizo.

Actually, I got there, then deleted the posts once I saw the title! :evil:

You put me in a difficult position. I could change it back for you, rather than making you start over or just post ten times in quick succession. But that would set a bad precedent, and also mark you as a bigger diva than all the other people who have asked me to change the ranks. I'm going out in about 15 minutes so you'll have to decide what to do.
