From experience most people run late, mostly because they will be at El Grand Castillo a few doors down waiting for a cubano with avo or a pernil etc... or like me running to christie's for Jamaican patties....

I'm not sure I understand this. Does Sharlene's not serve food? Or is their food just supremely bad? And they don't mind if you walk in with food from somewhere else? Or do you have to hide it under your coat like the students try to do at the library?

It's just a bar, you can bring in food and they don't mind. No hiding, just be courteous and clean after yourself. There are a ton of places next door to order from (sushi/indian/burgers/Dominican.. etc)

Dude is often welcome at sharlenes. Whoever gets there first should ask the bar tender if they are ok with a mutt. ...bringing a dude is a priviledge, not a right.

Some are too lazy to vote, but magically appear when beer is mentioned ....even at 3:00 on Sunday afternoon.
