The wood may be reclaimed? Hard to tell. It looks nicer than what I imagined. Still not quite my style, but not as tacky. Removing those purple curtains would help.

"purple curtains"....again, ain't all hipsters.  maybe the curtains are for private parties to be separated.  maybe for those of us who just like the Crown Royal bag.

I think curtains could be nice for the look they're going for, I just don't think their specific choice of curtains was ideal. A thick curtain would work well with that vibe, maybe velvet or satin looking. Those kind of look like an afterthought.

I can be anal and not very forgiving with design. Especially when I feel like small changes can make a big difference.

I looked in last night, and determined that the curtains are not purple.

It still looks like they still visited Pier I Imports and Bed Bath and Beyond more than I prefer, but I'm glad this place looks a little different.

Franklin's newest bar will soon host a fundraiser for Crown Height's newest politician:

I did a walk through the other day. It was actually nicer than I gathered during my first glance. Diverse crowd and the outdoor area is nice. Bartenders were friendly. Still not my usual type of place, but I can see myself going there on occasion.
