That is so Minnesota. :P

I'd like to emphasize - A pair. One. The ONLY pair. And they're linen.

This isn't getting any better, is it?
Don't worry. Unless you have hipster aspirations, no one really cares.
Unless you take them off outside someone's apartment one night.

Damn you all!!! I have a pair of khaki shorts...

    And I'm from MN, too...

Side note- about a month ago, showed up at a bar wearing them, and it's not like this bar was a scene to be seen, and my co-worker (female) asks me "did you just get done fishing? you look like you just got off the boat." I didn't think that that was funny either... :x

Carnivore is right. Wear what the hell you want to wear. I own three pairs of khaki shorts. Maybe tonight I'll wear a pair with a dress shirt and one of my grandfather's skinny ties from the 60s. There are many, many things more important than what you wear.

Absolutely... wear whatever you like, but khaki's around the ankles and on gawker just isn't a good look. However he kindly removed and left his flip flops on the side of the bed. Clearly a class act.

My husband has and wears khaki shorts too. I think he looks perfectly "cool"... but then again he does work on a fishing show.

Yeah, it's more that I don't think khaki shorts isn't what you should wear when you're trying to look studly. OTOH, it worked for this guy, so maybe I'm wrong. Dammit, where are my sweatpants?!

    Well, just for the record...

A few weeks ago my roomate came into our building and there were people getting it on on our *stoop* (lincoln / underhill & washington), so let's not pretend that our side of flatbush isn't keeping it real!
