Public relief.... — Brooklynian

Public relief....

edited November -1 in Brooklyn and Beyond
3 weeks ago I saw a woman holding her son's hand as he balanced on the curb and peed right into the street on 7th ave in front of Beet.

A week before that I turned onto 14th st from 7th ave...near that dreadful Frankenbuilding....to see a large African American woman squating below the tree there taking a crap. It was kind of late and I think I scared the shit out of her (pun intended).

I also recall one night walking home on 7th ave and seeing a man walking along with his wiener just out and peeing.
He was still walking though. How he was avoiding wet shoes is beyond me.

None of these people looked homeless.

What's up with all the public relief?

  • didn't we just have this thread about a kid peeing on the street?
  • It's an epidemic.
  • Last time I saw something like that, it was in New Jersey...turned out the guy was a resident of a local home for the mentally ill.
  • MOD NOTE: Since this isn't really a problem limited to PS, I've moved it to Brooklyn & Beyond.

    Carry on...
  • I've seen the walking/peeing guy! I was coming out of the Dry Cleaners on 8th Ave and 12th St and it was dark, but early (not yet 7pm). He was "casually" walking while peeing, and while I was totally grossed out by it, I have to admit to some awe.
Not too sure about the other outdoor activities...
  • just nasty .. and inconsiderate to others .. and actually a health hazard just like not cleaning up after dogs .. smh @ there's fines for that and still see it all over !
  • I saw a massive amount of poop once on the Kingston Avenue station platform. It look like a horse left it, that's how huge the pile was. I called the MTA and they were, let's say, underwhelmed by the health implications of this.
  • my friend had to shit while he as waiting for the train and went in to the tunnel and took a dump, then came back on to the platform like nothing happened.
