HO HO HO, LOOKS LIKE ANNA WILL HAVE A WHITE CHRISTMAS AND WE MIGHT GET SOME WHITE STUFF CHRISTMAS NIGHT INTO SUNDAY. THE PAIN IN MY ARM STARTED AT THE GYM 2 YRS. AGO AND HAS GOTTEN WORSE THIS PAST SUMMER. THEY CALLED IT TENDONITIS, THEN BURCITIS, NOW A TEAR IN THE TENDON, I HOPE THIS PAIN DISAPPEARS AFTER SURGERY!!! I COULD ONLY CARRY MY 7 MO. OLD GRANDDAUGHTER AROUND FOR A SHORT TIME BEFORE MY ARM GIVES OUT. THIS TIME OF YEAR WE ALWAYS THINK ABOUT MY GRANDMOTHER, SHE LIVED WITH OUR FAMILY SINCE WE WERE BABIES AND WAS THE BEST GRANDMA IN THE WORLD, MISS HER COOKING AND CARING WAYS, SHE WAS ALWAYS AT OUR BEDSIDE WITH TEA AND MEDICINE WHEN WE WERE SICK.

I cant believe its Christmas Eve already ....Im still

not feeling the magic yet. But, reading all the comments

on here ....Iam so grateful to have All of You in my Life.

Iam so sad for All those who have lost their loved ones...

I didnt even get to put a blanket on the cemetary this year

but, I swear to have a better outlook next Christmas

Cody's tumor removal from his lower eye lid came back

a slow growing cancer. He's 12 so I hope it really slow's

down...so he has some more time....

It's what Christmas really means to me.

My Favorite Christmas Present

I’ve received many Christmas presents throughout my life. Yet since I can remember I have received the one same present just about every year. Sometimes it was just about the only present that I received. When I was young, I didn’t even realize it was a present. I always looked for the wrapped presents under the tree.

I guess I first knew it was a present when one year I didn’t get it. Now as I’ve grown older I realize just how much this present means to me. Some of the older parts are gone, replaced by new ones, others I carelessly or recklessly discarded or lost, but fortunately these have been replaced, though I remember every part that there ever was.

As I’ve grown older it seems that Christmas has become one big commercial event. We have to have bigger and expensive presents and we become stressed out trying to cope with the holiday madness. Well , I for one now only hope to be getting that one present. Oh! I still receive Christmas presents under the tree and they are nice but it’s that one continuous present that has really made me look forward to Christmas every year.

Now you may have guessed what this present is because many of you also have received it and hopefully you still do. You should cherish it as I do because it’s not available in stores or online, can’t be bought with cash of credit cards and hopefully we will receive it for the rest of our lives at Christmas.

In a couple of hours we will be in Church praising the birth of our Lord & Savior. We will sing Joy To The World loud and with vigor. The service will end with Silent Night with the Church lit only by candles held by each parishioner. The last verse will be very soft and the Candles will be held on high. To those who can not attend services tonight or tomorrow because of illness or infirmity, my prayers will be with you and you can feel as though you are sitting beside me singing & praising Jesus Christ! And last but not least we should all remember and pray for those who are lacking sufficient food, clothing & housing to meet their basic needs. Tomorrow Carol & I will exchange gifts and some time during the day speak to our Children on the phone. To all in our Blog Family I wish you a very blessed Christmas. :santa:
