Can someone recommend long-distance movers?
I need to move some furniture to Pennsylvania--not a whole house or apartment worth, just a few pieces. I talked to a Brooklyn mover that I like/trust, but they proposed to charge me their regular hourly rate to drive to PA all in one day. That would cost about twice what I remember paying to move the stuff up here to begin with.
What I need is the kind of mover that will put my stuff on a truck with other people's stuff and drive it around and then deliver it a week later or whenever. Anyone have recommendations of people they trust?

I'd like to help, but the one experience I had with a long-distance moving company in Brooklyn ended with a lost end table, no compensation, and a receptionist who was eventually instructed to screen out my calls.

I've heard that Moishe's is amazing.

Would it fit in a van? I have a favorite man with van guy that I have used probably 10 times over the last 3 years, and would recommend him.
