New YOGA class on Wed 7pm @ Shambhala

Shameless self-promotion ahead, so if that sort of thing puts you off, go ahead and skip this thread.

A brand new yoga class will be starting on Wednesday November 7th at Shambhala Yoga & Dance over on St. Mark's and Washington. And I will be teaching it.

It's a vinyasa class, which means flowing from one pose to the next with the breath. It's a moving meditation and yet it will still appeal to sweat-junkies.

The level is I/II, which means practitioners ranging from beginner to intermediate will be comfortable.

I am a Yoga-Alliance-registered teacher and I completed my training at Laughing Lotus here in NYC. Currently, I am on the schedule at Levitate Yoga and East West Yoga in Manhattan, and I sub frequently at Park Slope Yoga Center as well.

plus, I know a lot of people post here looking for beginner yoga classes, and I can attest, having started as flexible as steel, thanks to BendyBroad I can now touch my toes. So i recommend her highly.

But I hope you fill the room. Its nice to have a yoga studio right in our own hood. I need to get my butt over there for a class on the weekends.

Please do! I'm starting another vinyasa class on Sundays at 11am. A friend of mine had been subbing that time slot the past couple of weeks, but starting tomorrow, I'm taking over. Should be fun, flowy, sweaty goodness.

I can't wait for the St Marks Lofts, where I bought an apartment, across the street to be finished already, so I can become a regular!

I can't wait either! Please do swing by! It's also a great way to meet people in the neighborhood. The students are all really sweet and down-to-earth.
