The UnReal World

Same crap....different city. You have the same cast of characters. Your resident tramp, resident drunk, resident gay or lesbian roommate, roommate who needs anger management . The only twist is that this time there is a transgendered roommate to stir things up. I watched it to see the shots of Brooklyn and see if anything was familiar. Next.

next. I'll watch This Old House, Brooklyn.
power tools: good
Stridex: bad -
Um, please hold. This Old House has started???? Can someone please refer me to the correct channel?
Sad thing is, I thought the first Real World was actually very good television. Sadder thing is, I'm old enough to remember watching it. -
Funny, when the first Real World aired, MTV used to actually show music videos. I wonder if kids today don't even know what MTV stands for.

Not yet. Supposed to be the Fall. Likely channel 21 -
Ok, I admit it, I am a sucker for this stuff. I love watching RW Brooklyn. I got really excited when I saw the shot with the taco carts & the huarache (well, I think we all know how I feel about huaraches at this point). And I saw Fairway pasta sauce. And I already love that sarah girl and I already strongly dislike the stupid blond "metrosexual" mormon dude who wore a pastel v-neck cardigan with no shirt underneath.

Yeah, I thought it was entertaining too, if only for the "oh my god, looks it's the ______" factor. I feel like there could be a drinking game in there somewhere..... -

Oh yeah - I actually suggested that on my twitter last night! I think one should drink every time something is called out. I think they were at Southpaw for a minute in last-night's episode too. I'm thinking of having a RW watching party with these drinking rules. -

I don't have cable. One of you will need to start a "trash tv" night. That's what I called them back when I used to have them. You provide the TV and a space to watch. People bring potluck style foods and desserts, drinks. We all make fun of the show and talk shit. Good times.

Mamacita, I'm out of town next week, but I'm thinking the week after I might be on this idea like crazy.

I KNEW the prospect of a drinking game would get your attention. You are so not normal. -

No, I am bringing a bat with which to beat you.
And I'm assuming that Carmen does not want your weird ass hogging up floor/sofa space week after week. We should rotate.
