    Seriously, I just saw a decent apartment on CL in SP for about 1300. Not a horrible commute to downtown - 14th St. in Manhattan and a helluva lot easier to get anywhere then where you currently live.

    Right you can't actually change the quote.

    I think the right way to respond would be to say something like:

    Dear Mougar,

    I can see why choosing an apartment might be difficult; It is like choosing the gender of your sexual partner. You can choose a male or female, or someone who checks neither box, but if you do not choose you end up going home alone.
