  • Yeah, you're gonna have to get married without me. I'm fucking near dead.
  • Mamacita wrote: Both Papi and I are officially Reverends of the Universal Life Church. So I can legally marry any of you fools.
was it a dual purpose application-placemat? ...like the ones at Wendy's?
  • VoodooNYC wrote: [quote=scarlett]=Mami and Papi, Beav, Scarlett, Mouger, Carni & friend, Em, Whynot and Mrs. Why, Carmen and boytoy, BigGuy, Nomad and Brooklynbound.

    Hold on............
I'm kinda counting on either nomad or brooklynbound to be a rabbi.

Nomad is an aetheist (but perhaps there's a clip on YouTube so I can learn how to be a rabbi in 2 minutes).... and Brooklynbound is very quiet!
  • cheese: bought
    olives: bought
    wine in a box: bought

win. Now i just need to survive 3 hours of conference calls...lets pray I dont have one AFTER my 6:30...oh and the boy will be in attendance. Apparently Kyle is out of the hospital and somehow has no serious injuries or broken bones (but does have a shitload of percocet and a LOT of bruises and scrapes) Thanks goodness.
  • Carmen wrote: Kyle is out of the hospital and somehow has no serious injuries or broken bones (but does have a shitload of percocet.
    Bring Kyle too. :D

lol i wish. I feel so bad for him. no insurance of course. I dont know how he didn't break bones, even E was scared and he NEVER thinks wrecks are bad.
  • Did he get any information from the cabbie, license plate, police report, etc...? It sounds like it was completely the cab driver's fault and he should have to pay the medical bills.
  • Mougar wrote: Did he get any information from the cabbie, license plate, police report, etc...? It sounds like it was completely the cab driver's fault and he should have to pay the medical bills.
e didnt know. The cops came I think but they're notoriously not cool with bike messengers (mostly because they're a bunch of dicks.) He didnt know if anything happened with the cabbie but I would bet not.
  • I haven't made any purchases yet, so any last requests, just let me know!

Your friend really should find out - there is something called no-fault in NYC and it would cover all hospital bills, lost earnings and other various expenses. My husband was a bike messenger and he was hit by a van we filed for no-fault through the van's insurance company and were reimbursed for all expenses we laid out. Hope he feels better.
  • Meat!! If Carny is coming we'll need to feed him meat!!
  • Thanks so much for hosting. I will be on CPT if I come - Grad School. I think I'd get there close to ten. Is there a wine shop near you?

Also, what's the demographic of people coming? I just don't want to be surrounded by a bunch of couples and/or old folks. I don't want to be the odd one out, which is almost impossible not to be the case. :P Did I just say that!? Damn. Hey, I posted for people to come over to my place on Thanksgiving, so I'm not that bad...

So if ten or 9:30 is good, see you then. Just let me know if there's a wine shop or something nearby. Otherwise, it's beer...

Also what was passed to me!?

    Thanks again!
  • Good range of ages- moug is 14, my bf and I are 25 and it goes up slightly from there. everyone is cool, dont worry.
  • Brooklynbound wrote: Also, what's the demographic of people coming? I just don't want to be surrounded by a bunch of couples and/or old folks. I don't want to be the odd one out, which is almost impossible not to be the case.
    Don't worry, that's usually me. It's because I'm diverse.
  • Brooklynbound, rest assured:
We are all fabulously attractive and appreciate wine.
...Some of us are even employed.

P.S. most of us are between 23 and 46. Mougar is the youngest, but that is not why he gets picked on.
  • Mamacita wrote: Brookbound, you bring the loving :P
LOL. I just read this. I'm bringing wine if there is a shop or beer. What else?
  • Whew! I'm glad I won't be there. Brooklynbound would be intimidated by my awesomeness. ;) Especially my red, irritated nose and my constant snuffling and sneezing.
  • Em26 wrote: I still have a tape of a concert of theirs. I forgot it in Det. My sis is taking care of it for me.

This is a song clip from that tape:

I remember trying to do the dance moves from this song.

I saw them at MSG....IT feels great when you fulfill child hood dreams. Ahh...Jordan....

Oh. I'm not attractive. So no worries. I was just worried that I'd be the odd one out because I'm going to be late. Plus I was worried about being the only solo person in a sea of older couples.

I'll most likely stop by, even if only for a few. See you around (9:30 or 10).

There's a wine store at Court and 3rd Place but I'm not sure how long they stay open. There are several places on Court and a place right near the subway exit on Smith to get beer. Beer is fine! Especially for when Mougar starts doing shots of jager.
  • VoodooNYC wrote: Especially for when Mougar starts doing shots of jager.
    Not ... gonna ... happen

I am on the go! Not a rabbi though. Sorry!
  • here's the plan:
    1. Apply Ether to rag.
    2. Apply rag to Mougar.
    3. Shave off his left eyebrow.
    4. When he comes to, give him Jager as per prior events.
    5. Swirlees and wedgies to be administered as needed.

^^^^^^ THIS!!!!!!! Although I hate percocet so please ask him to trade it in for oxycodone or vicodin. MMM!!!!!!!

Never!!!!! I mean, some of my personalities are older and inc ouples, but there's only one me!
  • Yes, because the cure for almost being killed by an asshole cabbie is hanging out with people who'll most likely molest, annoy, be obnoxious to and otherwise humiliate the poor kid. :P

I hope Mougar is one of your son's or nephews. If not, thats just not right!

actually, she was trying to protect recovering-from-car-accident-Kyle from our wrath.

But you are right, such treatment is usually exclusively reserved for Mougar. When you meet Mougar, you'll understand.
