I've been in the neighborhood for about 6 months, but just walked by this amazing place the other day. does anyone know what the deal is with membership or where to find more information?

  • Membership is pretty easy. All that's required is paying annual dues ($5-$25, sliding scale), coming to three meetings per year, and doing ten (i think) service hours working around the garden or on various garden-related community projects. There is a seperate waiting list for individual garden plots, but as soon as you join there are many communal gardening opportunities.

There will be a garden information table set up on Vanderbilt Summer Streets this Sunday - or just pop into the garden any time the gate is open....we're a friendly bunch.
  • Oh, and we have a yahoo group here if you want to get on the listserve. Be warned, there can be a lot of emails some days. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/prospectheightsfarm/

ps - since its in prospect heights proper, you might want to have this moved to the PH board.
  • thanks! i'll try to stop by tomorrow.

i posted it here by accident (this was my first post) and can't figure out how to move it. any advice?
  • MOD NOTE: already moved. (regular posters can't move posts anyway, so no worries.)
  • if you stop by the worm-posting tent on vandy today (near soda), you can meet PHCFarm folks.
