Don't worry about not being a beautician I'm positive you did an excellent job.

Warren - I think most places are still pretty good - I don't know if it was Brooklyn or just the way we were raised that made the difference. I'm so fortunate to have fantastic neighbors where I live in Staten Island. A few weeks ago I was making artichokes and was pounding them open on the sink. My doorbell rang and it was my neighbor checking on me. She heard the banging and thought I got hurt and came to see. She said if I didn't open the door she was calling 911! So people are still good!

Well my brother in law had the bone marrow transplant yesterday, I am still waiting to hear from my sister to see how is doing today....He was feeling a little sick yesterday, but now it is a wait and see thing, lots of things can go wrong and we hope everything will go right...I will keep you posted.

Great photos Suzie and I don't know why I am crying looking at them. Maybe cause i am thinking about where has the time gone.Thinking if we could go back just one more day to be with the people we lost.Go back and walk 5th avenue and drag that tree again and be a kid full of laughter. Feeling frightened that I will be 60 this april but happy I am alive to say that.

It was a crazy and sad year for a lot of us with sickness and the loss of many. This 2011 will be good year I know. I have a new grandchild coming in April and hopefully will be here for my birthday. What a great gift that would be.

Sorry I posted the countdown so late today...got up early and went to SI, had a lot of things to do today at Mom's house...getting ready to spend Christmas Day there..

Got home and my husband decided he wanted to make stroffilis, so we all helped and guess who got stuck cleaning up the whole greasy kitchen!!!! LOL LOL what a friggin mess.....going to relax, just waiting for the grease to cool off so I could put it in something to dispose of...
