    Well, who "woulda thunk it". When we celebrated the New Year 2000 we were amazed that we made it to the new century. When we were younger and family members died, for the most part, in their 50's we figured we would never see 2000. Well today we celebrate 2011. Carol & I wish all of you on the blog as well as your families and friends a wonderful, healthy HAPPY 2011! =DB

    Bobby Weicezak just put in his retirement papers from the NYFD after 32 years of service to the city we all love so much. Thanks Bob!!!! Good luck in your retirement Bob. Enjoy it because you earned it

    I am not much on resolutions but here are my wishes for 2011:

    1.World Peace-All of us spend more time and money on research, medicine and cures and less on war.

    2. More love then hate- Reading the papers with wives beating husbands, husbands beating wives and both parents harming children makes me sick!!

    3. The Giants remember how to play football and Tom Coughlin to find a new job somewhere else. Also, for Eli to remember what color uniforms his team is wearing!!!

    4. All, and I mean all, religious leaders band together to help eliminate terrorism in the world. Its TIME!!

    5. Somehow help to eliminate hunger in a world loaded with food!

    Patsy...love the pics of Kevin and your so right...the City

    has a habit of throwing them out to the wolves on their 1st day out. I had to dispatch the worst area for gunshots on the 4th of July... may he remain safe out there!

    You hit the jackpot just having that beautiful family of yours. Winning would certainly make it a lot easier for you.

    Just hung out after church today. We cooked so much for our company yesterday and we are exhausted.

    A lot of work but I want to keep Margie's tradition of having a New Years dinner with the family. Family is very important to me so it is worth being exhausted.

    Back to the old routine tomorrow.

    This weeks vacation went too fast.

    Closed on my condo in florida dec. 31st.

    Florida here we come so stay warm for us.

    Patsy I can taste it as you describe it. Carol & I got a small Turkey for Thanksgiving and ate it for about 5 days before we gave up. I love Carol's Sausage Stuffing. It is hard to have big pieces of meat when there is just the two of us. We usually have Thanksgiving dinner with two other couples but it just did not work out this year.

    Terry-February is USUALLYpretty nice here. We have had exceptions like last year when it was pretty cool. While you are here, try to get to the State Fair which is held in Tampa in February at the Fair Grounds at the intersection of Rt4 and 301. There are a lot of fun things there along with some boring farm stuff. Usually good entertainment also. It is right next door to the Seminole (HARD ROCK) Casino so if you get bored at the fair you can go next door and win (Hopefully)some money.
