    Hi Terry....I thought you knew?

    Had surgery on my right hand & wrist for karpel tunnel last thursday.....

    but it is healing fast and tomorrow I should get stitches out and bandage off....

    thanks for coming last week and staying to the end...

    I don't know why the "upload files from your computer" down below does not work anymore. It was so easy to just go to the bottom of the page and it would copy pictures right from "your pictures" on your computer. Now I have to go to Photobucket and save them there and then copy them.

    ADMIN - why is this not working, everything is so time consuming, that is why nobody is coming on the blog anymore. Please make it a little easier.

    LETS HOPE OUR "LEADERS" IN D.C. WISE-UP QUICK & DON'T RUIN OUR COUNTRY.....I Am All For Good Brooklyn "ASS-KICKING" in D.C. ..... Protect the rich, give rights to illegal immigrants, send our money all over the world, while we can't make ends meet, and can't find jobs, and we close hospitals,fire houses,lay off police. Our political system is as broken as our roads & bridges are. Our government is more concerned with gay marriage, and illegal immigrants than about the hard working middle class.

    When does it stop...where does it end?

    ...GOD HELP AMERICA...

    The Roman Empire was one of the great civilizations of all time...and they imploded and collapsed. I hope America don't suffer the same fate. We are spinning out of control, we are going in the wrong direction, and I hope we can get it together before it becomes too late.

    I don't have all the answers, but the majority in this country better come together and make their voices heard and stop letting the small bunch of loud mouths out shout us and drown us out. The stakes are too high

    Joe, I wholeheartedly agree with what you said about our current government "crises". It is even worse then people think. There are a group of politicians in Washington that are trying to balance the budget on the back of everyday government employees and retirees. These are the very same employees who LEND the Government money from their retirement funds every time they run short of cash. The Federal Civil Service Retirement system is solvent because retirement is what the monies set aside from employees salaries every paycheck are used for exclusively. The government has been using Social Security "EXCESS" for years instead of putting it away for a rainy day like now.

    Unlike people think, Federal Employees AND Retirees pay a very hefty portion of their income for Hospitalization and Medicare benefits as well as their retirement fund. . Our Hospitalization premiums are well over $400 a month in addition to the Medicare premiums. That is over $600 monthly from our pension check. We also pay for Life Insurance until we die. No Freebies... I will be retired 19 years in October and I still have not received back the retirement funds I paid taxes on when I was working. It is pro-rated with a lifetime schedule that some genius invented to screw us. Now instead of looking at the pork barrell items like bridges to nowhere and subsides to Oil Companies that once again have reported record profits while the price of Gas at the pump is taking a huge bite from working peoples income. Maybe someday we will be able to elect "WORKING" people and retirees to the House and Senate so that they know what the average guy and girl are going through financially... ](*,)

    Warren....Amen to that. Its a shame that the younger generation doesn't understand it yet, but they are all in for a bumpy ride and I hate to think where this country will be in a few years from now.

    Hello all, Patsy, I hope you get to see some of the beautiful scenery in the Poconos. We used to spend a lot of time In Canadensis. Do not know if that is any way near where you are. Mt Pocono has several places of interest and I understand that Mt Airy got a Casino!!! If that is wrong, I am sorry but I know some resorts got Casino Licenses. We spent our Honeymoon in a small resort up there called Chestnut Grove. When our kids were growing up we found "Daniels Top O' the Poconos" in Canadensis and spent time in the summer, winter and fall there. It was the only place with meals that was affordable back then. We became good friends with the owners but that was a long time ago. Try and get over to Lake Wallenpaupack.

    Great scenery and plenty to do. I (Warren) worked one summer in a YMCA Camp on Fairview Lake not far from Wallenpaupack.

    Looks like Congress is finally going to pass a Debt Limit bill. Gee, couldn't they have done that weeks ago and saved a lot of worry and agrevation!

    MT. AIRY IS NO TOO FAR AWAY. WE ARE ON ACRES OF LAND CALLED

    'BREEZEWOOD'.. JUST BEAUTIFUL.. MOBILE HOMES ARE HERE ALL

    YEAR LONG, BUT YOU CANNOT LIVE UP HERE IN WINTER. T IS A SUMMER

    SAFE HAVE. MY CUZ STEF'S MOBILE HOME IS TOO CUTE!!

    HAVING A GREAT TIME & RELAXING.. WENT TO CROSSINGS OUTLETS

    YESTERDAY.. TONIANN HAD A BALL BUYING CLOTHES & POCKETBOOKS, ETC. SHE'S JUST ABOUT ALL DONE. (THANK GOD)

    OK..GOING BY THE POOL NOW. HI TO ALL & I HOPE EVERYONE IS

    Hi everyone.....

    Hope everyone is well. I'm really not loving this 90 degree weather...lol A little cooler and I'm happy! I hate to say this but I can't wait for school to start again!!! I'm so sick of having a revolving door all day long and looking at my kids and their friends AND feeding them too!!! Oh well I guess I shouldn't complain it could be worse....see you all later. :D
