Sorry, didn't mean to be rude, ltjbukem. I guess I'm just jaded on the subject of poop in inappropriate places since my last apartment, which was on Washington Ave, often featured human doody and/or a pool of urine in the lobby and entryway.

If the doody coil is in a counter clockwise formation, it is probably from a Heroin attic. The clockwise coils are usually sculpted by Crackheads. -

Was it overnight poop brown, with that skin that forms on outside, or was it of the mustardy persuasion? Was it literally steaming?
-
since he said its steaming, it must be like fresh out of the human/animal oven.

Wow, I never thought God gave a shit! -
it was steaming, as in fresh...i guess he figured at 8 or 9am on a sunday morning, no one would be out to catch him or her squatting...
i'm sure the owners of the townhouses across the street were hoping those construction workers who wake them up every day at 7am would step on it with their shitkicker boots..
but alas they don't work sundays.... -

Not sure, but human feces is definitely a greater potential health hazard. -

I would recommend you exercise some caution as there are "no dumping" laws in new york.
It would be wise to go light on the cabbage as it may put you in violation of The Geneva Accord of 1925
