The Rant Rave thread

I liked Ali G, but probably because it was limited to segments stuck in a half hour slot. And Bruno was always my least favorite.

Rant: possible summer cold. Feel like shit. I've been up for an hour and have yet to get ready for work.

rave: got up early motivated to have a productive day!

RANT: a WATERFALL had sprung in my kitchen pouring buckets-worth of BROWN WATER all over my kitchen from the ceiling. EXCELLENT! <3 apartment living. Its been raining in my kitchen for aprox 15 minutes now and the dude upstairs is not home, of course.

rant: sucks to be Carmen.

rave: its finally summer weather

Rant: "Optional" meetings that you have to go to.

Rant :

My doc wants my blood so I got up early to go give it to her. No appointment cuz I'm just letting them stab me with a needle. I get there and they're CLOSED. I called and the answer machine said they open at 1pm. Walked my tired ass back home and now I wait. :sigh:

Oh poor Em. I HATE giving blood. My veins are small and they always stab me 10 times before finding a good one. I can never be a heroin addict. It's my lot in life

Rant: More family visiting this week for at least 5 days. I fully plan to still go to the picnic to escape.

Double rant: cleaning house for the guests. :x :x I am so freaking tired of family.

^^ Good luck with your guests! At least your sis doesn't demand an itinerary!! My 8 year old cousin wants to come now too,if I'm able to find her a seat on the same plane. I'm gonna have a full house next month.

The Phlebotomist wasn't in today so I was just given a refill on my medicine.

Rant:

They've scheduled to take my blood on Friday.

Rave: no waterfall in my kitchen this morning

Rave: my silly do nothing job seems like it will continue to exist until Jan. 1, 2010 (not merely Sept 30th, 2009 as previously feared).

...this means I will continue to be in the luxurious position of being able to complain about my job, as a opposed to complain about my lack of job.

Rant: Stupid economy. If it wasn't for you I could get out of here and get a job with actual work.

All of the nurses love my fat veins. If you can't hit my vein, there is something seriously wrong with you.

Rave: went swimming at the Red Hook pool. Took the boot off and got to move the leg around a lot

RANT: They ran out of coffee at work. The bastards! Like I'm going to go out and buy coffee.

Rant: Cat hair EVERYWHERE. You think the hairy beast would be bald by the amount of hair I'm vacuuming up!! Arg!

Rant: Beave is having a crap day at work but claims to be too tired to come out for martinis and vent.

I don't want to get my hopes up to much, but knock on wood, I maybe getting a washer and dryer!!!!!! [-o<

Rant: So tired and mixed up that I took two showers this morning because I couldn't remember if I washed my hair in the first one and am now late to work. Supposed to be here at 7:45.

1) doctor said I can start taking boot off and putting full weight on foot
2) had a hot date with Carmen tonight - she's awesome :-)
3) left Carmen and on the way home met a super hottie who....wait for it.....was on crutches and in an air cast. Ha!

My 12yr old nephew is coming to visit now too!!

Just bought his ticket and was barely able to find it for the same flight as my sister's.

He is sooo happy!! I am toooo!

Rave: while the fireworks were going off, someone also rang our door bell.

Rant: Dude almost split in half so he could bark at both the door and the window.
