The Rant Rave thread

Rave: Fast and silent hard drive is fast and silent.

Rant: Reinstalling is a pain in the ass, no matter how you slice it.

BBQ Saturdays yo!

Rave: Shipment notification - I have some, er... athletic-y merino wool clothing on the way. Yes, I realize that it was 90+ degrees today, but still - lightweight merino wool kicks ass on all but the steamiest days (actually, merino athletic socks rock any time).

Rant: someone left a large (queen or king) mattress outside of our place. 311? I'm def not touching it.

Rave: Dog is an 8lb vision vision of pristine health except...

rant: for a dislocating hind kneecap which probably resulted after the worlds clumsiest dog fell off of the ottoman a few months ago. Apparently, as long as he's not limping or exhibiting pain it's fine, but still....momma doesn't like her baby being hurt

minimal rant: $200 vet visits. I know its routine and thats not even bad for everything he got but still, I hate dropping money like that for anything.

additional rave: dog seems to be slightly lethargic from vaccines, which means I can clean the house without him trying to attack the broom/swiffer or shredding rolls of paper towels.

^ I'm sure 1lb of that weight is all fluffiness.

Rant: woke up with a skeeter bite on my arm that makes me look like I have 2 elbows. Sexy!


Rave: i have the garden and the BBQ till friday!! PARTAY!!!! HOLLA!!!!

Rave: the MJ b-day bash in the park left practically no trash! We were out early Monday morning (the party was Sunday) and the Nethermead was far cleaner than after any regular weekend when people bbq there. There weren't even food scraps, and all the dogs did a thorough search.

Rave: good visit with old friends over the weekend.

Rant: Dude had his teeth cleaned today.

Rant: His people were very scared, because he would be put under for the procedure

Rave: He is now slightly groggy, but has clean teeth.

RANT: Was told by some random guy that I need to go back home to mommy in midwest where I came from

RAVE: The look on his friend's faces when I cursed his nasty ass out.
