Rant: The idiot contestant Pierre on "Don't Forget The Lyrics", who keeps filling in the wrong lyrics as he sings along, and then quickly "locks them in". Rant - AT&T are dickwads. Just got this email from them

It looks like you're starting to make good use of your data this month. Since your DataPlus plan has a monthly allowance of 200MB, any usage which exceeds that amount will be automatically billed at $15 per each 200MB. Which is why you may want to consider updating your plan to DataPro.

So I logged on to check my data usage, 'cause it's not usually too high. So far, I'm 1/3 of the way through my billing cycle and I've only used 1/6 of my allotted data. Yes, real urgent need to upgrade my plan, assholes.

Rave: Getting the wife knocked up upped the Christmas gift ante with the in-laws - among the received were my they'll-never-buy-me-this-but-they-asked-for-it Le Creuset 3.5 quart braiser and 11.75" skillet.

Rant: Spent more than 4 hours crawling along the NJ turnpike on the trip home. Even with little traffic, it still wasn't a smart idea to go more than 30 mph.
