I was out last night, thankyouverymuch. Four glasses of wine and a huge dinner later, I rolled back home.

It's ok now. The maintenance guy came a short 4 hours after he said he would and I have power again. He claims they'll add another circuit so my power stops going out. I am moving as soon as I can find something.

I've just been on the site a long time. The Beave has a higher post-per-day rate than me. If she keeps at it, she'll pass me eventually.

But all of us are dwarfed by the Brooklyn Back When folks. They just started a few months ago, and already a few of them are in the top ten posters (Go to the "Community" tab and select "Memberlist" and sort by total posts). Within the next year, I expect all of the top ten posters to be from that one thread.

Not only will they become top ten posters, but they'll ALSO TYPE IN ALL CAPS. WHEEEEEE!

That's actually really interesting - I've never looked at the memberlist before. To sort by oldest member, most posts, etc. LOTS of members with no posts too. The BBW guys are sweet, they pretty much use this "blog" (their word) as an alternative to the phone but with glitter pics!

But I feel bad for you too so:

It's actually a sublet in a CO-OP from the owner of the unit, and she is really sweet. It may be too much, but she isn't a freak.

And I'm not hating on Crown Heights, I'm hating on the nexus of Crown Heights/Brownsville/East New York. I'm fine with west of Nostrand CH.

Rant: I'm starting to sound like a whiny bitch about my apartment.
