ok, well, there was a time when people would make these things and post them to - preferably unmoderated - boards over and over. After awhile that died down down and the "cat thing" had a life of its own. People would just take pictures of their cats and throw on a (hopefully) funny caption.

damn. one of those ceiling loaded fire extinguishers in the pantry on my floor at work just exploded and fell out of the ceiling. the stuff that comes out hit a guy in the face and there was a huge cloud of crud everywhere.

all the chicks on the floor (except for me - I was trying to go to the bathroom and the bathroom is next to the pantry so woe) were all excited b/c of the hot fire fighters. of course, when they talked all you could hear was staten island. ah well.
