    Good Morning or should I say Good afternoon,

    This is really bad....Everyone stay warm and be careful.

    My friends Sam and Steve went to the city yesterday early to meet their friends from Boston. Got on the train last night and never got of. They stopped service completely and they had to sleep on the train until 8 30 this morning and got to Bay Parkway Brooklyn and never made it back to S.I.

    Have a Warm and safe day.

    Hi-loved seeing all the snow back East..it looks beautiful..but be careful..stay in & stay warm!!. Well, I'm glad everyone had a white Christmas! it's going to be 50 by this Friday in Chicago...back to work today & didn't want to get up!! Cody is much better..on meds but Vet detected a minor heart murmur(probably age-related)Going to the mall tonight w/Jessica-of course to exchange stuff..stay warm everyone & talk to u soon....

    there's a plow stuck near my house causing all kinds of grief. no other plow can get thru to clear the streets. I didn't even attempt to get my car unsnowed and off the driveway - tomorrow's another day.

    that's all you heard on the news was about all the people stuck on buses, trains, in cars. hope they make it home real soon. I'm a big chicken, I hear snow and I stay in - as long as I have a bag of potato chips I'm good.

    Tomorrow everyone will be able to move about a little bit more. If the wind ever stops it'll make it easier too.

    It's frigid out there - so stay in and stay warm. Terry - did you make plans w/Margaret for dinner??

    check back later. hey Anthony don't go out on your scooter cause you'll get lost in a snow drift!!

    HI CUZ..MIA LOOKS BEAUTIFUL.. I LOVE HER OUTFIT.. JUST SOOOOO PRETTY..

    ANYWAY, I HAD A DAY FROM HELL TODAY.. IT STARTED AT 7AM WHEN MY STOMACH DID FLIP FLOPS, I RAN FOR THE BATHROOM & YES,GOT SIK.. (BUT MADE IT TO HTE BOWLIN TIME) SORRY FOR THE GRAPHICS..BUT THE WORST PART WAS, MY S.I.L. KEVING GRADUATED FROM MSG TODAY FROM THE NYPD & I WAS SO CIK i MISSED THE CEREMONY :(..MY FAMILY HAD TO TAKE THE TRAIN THERE,..COULD NOT MOVE THE CAR, NO MATTER WHAT.. I FEEL A LITTLE BIT BETTER NOW, BUT THE THOUGHT OF FOOD, MAKES ME SICK..I HAVE BEEN LIVING ON TEA & SOME HONEY ALL DAY..

    OK.. I AM GOING TO LAY DOWN & READ A LITTLE, & REST.. I HAVE WORK TOMORROW, SO I AM GOING TO TRY & MAKE IT IN.

    SO, GOODNIGHT, FRIENDS & I WILL C U ALL IN THE MORNING..

    WILL POST SOME PIX OF MY S.I.L., WHEN I FEEL BETTER..XX :)

    Patsy..,so sorry you had to miss your SIL's ceremony....my daughter has the same thing...she has been throwing up since last night, she cannot keep anything down....so many people have gotten this in the last couple of days...hope you feel better.

    I stayed home today..but I have to try and get to work tomorrow...keep warm and drive safe tomorrow.

    Patsy - hope you feel better. Judy hope Crystal's better to. She looks just like you and the boys look like Bobby! That stomach bug is wicked - lots of people have had it. Not me I just have bronchitis! Ugh.

    Hoping the sanitation front loader returns to finishing plowing out my driveway. He had to leave (about 3 hrs. ago) to help a salter that tipped over. Fingers crossed...

    Be careful traveling about. I'm home and not going anywhere (although I'm beginning to feel cabin fever set in). Tomorrow's another day.

    I EVER RECEIVED..I LOVE DOWNLOADING THE BOOKS.. SO EASY.. BUT I STILL GO TO THE LIBRARY..IT WOULD BE WAY TOO EXPENSIVE, IF I HAD TO BUY EVERY BOOK I READ.. I READ LIKE 3 BOOKS A WEEK. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN A LIBRARIAN.. LOL

    The cleanup has been deplorable - the mayor flunked big time on this storm. I'm still waiting for my street to be plowed.

    Karen....Happy Birthday. You're so right, the mayor screwed up and the DSNY is getting the blame. Kevin has been working 12 hour days since sunday and breaking his ass to plow and all people do is complain about them. It's crazy. They laid off 300 guys maybe that's why!!!

    Patsy.....I'm glad you're feeling better. We must have different schedules at the library....lol We haven't run into each other yet! :wink:

    Thanks Patsy I'd love to but I'm too lazy to leave the house at that time....lol I'll be curled up on the couch. Plus I have lil Kevin sick with a sore throat. Dr just called in a prescription for him. Poor thing, getting sick on vacation is no fun.

    Patsy - I have a few questions about the Nook...I got one for Christmas. The biggest question I have is, I was told you can download books from the library...you have one or two weeks to read it, but they are free...is this true...they also have free classes at Barnes and Nobles, there is one right by work, maybe I will go after work one night...I hate to have a new gadget and don't know what the hell I am doing.,..LOL

    Well going to eat and then clean up and then RELAX!!!

    SO MANY THINGS.. (HANDS ON IS BEST) I NEED TO GO THERE & LEARN HOW TO SHARE BOOKS WITH OTHER PEOPLE THAT HAVE THE NOOK.. YOU & I CAN DO THIS, WHEN ONE OF US LEARN HOW,..I HAVE MINE A YEAR NOW, & ALL I REALLY DO IS DOWNLOAD BOOKS ON IT & CHANGE WALLPAPER

    SCENES & FONT, ETC..SOMEONE SENT ME A MESSAGE 'LEND ME' I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO DO IT OR WHO THIS PERSON WAS.. SOMEONE WANTED TO READ ONE OF MY BOOKS, & I DID NOT KNOW HOW TO SEND IT TO THEM..I KEEP SAYING I WILL GO BACK TO B&N, BUT I NEVER SEEM TO HAVE THE TIME.. LOL

    SORRY, I COULD NOT BE MORE HELP..I'M A STARIGHT SHOOTER..AS LONG AS I CAN DOWNLOAD WHAT I BUY, I'M A HAPPY CAMPER.. :lol:
