Goodbye 2010

How will we remember 2010, with a smile or a frown

Sometimes you were okay, but a lot got people down

We had very strange weather, in some places extreme

Then came the oil spill that made people scream

Some lost their loved ones, but babies were born

There were joyous occasions but some brought you scorn

This BLOG survived through changes galore

Some were improvements and some were a bore

Terry has become the beauty party Queen

From what I hear, no one has turned green

Patsy & Debbie keep Bay Ridge alive

While the men on here do all to survive

We have people from all parts of the nation

But they started in Brooklyn place of their creation

Hey, Anthony Umbria still lives in the hood

His cooking alone makes the neighborhood good

There’s Jeanette way up North we have people in the South

If I tried to name them all someone says’ “shutta you mouth”

But Judy & Anna & Suzie, Joe Jerry & Fred do come to mind

Now by naming names, I am getting myself into a bind

Not last but maybe least is the Old Goat who writes this

And sends you all a great big Two Thousand & Eleven kiss

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!!! We received our snowfall on Christmas Night, had to leave my daughter's house early, it was soooo beautiful but we were snowed/iced in until Tuesday. I don't think I want anymore snow, can't get out, the snow plows don't plow our neighborhood. I was thinking about all of you up north, I guess it will take awhile to melt, be careful and everyone have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

If anyone's nose is out of joint because they were not mentioned in my end of year poem, please accept my apology. I love all of you on the blog and only threw in a few names that came to mind.!!! :wtf:

Getting ready for New years Day. Mike is working tomorrow so I have a lot to do on my own. Sorry i have not been on.

Good Morning My Queen, Anna and All,

Still snowed in. The did not plow my sreet like they were suppose to just top layer and that's it. My car is still snowed in. I am stranded.

My gravy is on for my lasagna for tomorrow. I think we have about 30 coming. What the hell were we thinking and where are they going to park???

This Mayor stinks he keeps blaming the sanitation. It is his fault for letting going all the sanitation workers recently. He did not even have them salt before the storm...

OK typed this an hour ago and went to clean and never pressed submit. lol Everyone have a great day and a Happy New Year.

on this blog HAPPY NEW YEAR my new years wish is that we all enjoy our health & happiness during 2011 for God's sake

many of us had some rough times during 2010, it's difficult to do but maybe we can try to but them on the back burner and things will be brighter in 2011.
