good luck, simon! my friend e-mailed today to tell me that she is home from work watching her kitty, who is suffering all the same symptoms. she took her to the doctor yesterday, but i guess they didn't find anything definitive. for the rest of the afternoon i will be sending out miracle-cure vibes to all kitties everywhere.

Rave: Met 2 of my fav men for drinks at Bryant Park. They tell me I've lost weight even though I've gained 10 pounds since I last saw them. They ignore what I've said and reiterate that I look great and have lost weight. (Men are clueless but I love them! What a "blouson" black top and skinny jeans will do to hide weight gain - try it!)

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE R TO Q TRANSFER AT DEKALB IS ONE OF THOSE 15-FLIGHTS-OF-STAIRS-THROUGH-THE-TUNNEL-OF-THE-EARTH TRANSFERS? Or is it across the platform? I know the R also connects to the Q at atlantic but that station is huge... I'm trying to get from the 9th st R to Union sq as quickly as possible as I need to go to an, erm, "appointment" during my lunchbreak...

dekalb is cross-platfrom. easy peasy.

Why don't you go to Atlantic and take the N? Same platform, fewer stops.

Yes, ma'am! I take it every effin' day.

If you see the N when you're pulling into Atlantic take it, but otherwise the Q tends to run more frequently during off-peak so you're better off going to DeKalb.
