Oh man that flank steak was awesome!!! But let's not belittle BigGuy's sausage contribution. He even slapped it in a taco.

Rave: Brooklyn Boulders, the new climbing gym on 3rd and Degraw. I have actually experienced it (pesky busted ankle) but the bf and friend who climb a fair amount both indoors and out, are pleased with this addition to the area.

I'll rave more about it in its own thread later b/c I want people to support it and keep it open and hopefully expanding.

Rave: Bruno and Cyrano wrestlemania (presided by Dude) and some really good grillins

I'll be missing a lot of things this month. Now there might be a BBQ in PP on Sunday and I don't know if I'll be going. Depends on the time and weather.

Rant :

Their flight was delayed for 3 hrs bcuz of the weather. They sat on the plane that whole time!! They just landed.

Rave: BBQ! Good times, Cyrano and Bruno seemed to have a ball!

Rave: THIS IS MY SECOND TO LAST CORPORATE MONDAY EVER (hopefully!)!!!!

Rant: Now that the weather is nice, I might not want to go back to some air conditioned office.

rant: doctors who don't work with insurance.

rant: being required to meet with same.

Rant: TWC tech totally screwed up the wiring here while changing out cable boxes and now I can't get sound! (side rant: having a bf who has created a monster of an entertainment center).

Rant: annoying doctor's receptionist who doesn't want to help me. I'm in pain here, woman and trying to do exactly what your boss told me to do. Is it bad to change doc's mid-treatment?

RANT: Just back from vacation...tooth cracked. Emergency root canal tomorrow. awesome.

RANT: Cost of the above: just under $1000. double awesome.

I broke my digital camera!!!!

I'm still able to upload the pics out of it.

Rave: everything I made (beet/roquefort salad, red quinoa salad, marinades for halibut and shrimp) was deeeeelicious and well received. Pastis, rose, red wine, tons of good food and petanque! Team France (mine!) Won every game and I proudly helped the team. In the absence of caterers, I had a lot of work to do during the party and so did not drink too much. Awesome petanque tournament. I got to carry the French flag for the parade and distribution of medals and trophies.
Rave: my aunt and uncle were so thankful for my help they asked me to come back every party
Rave: spent my last day in Portland in the pool with the marghs made from wild blackberry infused tequila
Rant: cannot think of ONE

Rant: As a newly unemployed person, my partner has asked me to wait in line all morning for free Shakespeare in the Park tickets.

Rave: By agreeing to do so, I will gain 1 relationship point.

Rant: Surprise (?), I am somewhat (?!) of an oaf. ...I would like to skip going to the actual event. (thus foregoing an additional point)

Rave: If a cultured female blogger goes with Mrs. Whynot to the event, I will be able to obtain one point ...yet not have to actually attend the event. One point is plenty. PM me to apply.

Rant: there's no way mrs.whynot would let me go
Rant: red eye flight. Need bed.

RANT: I got a cold in the summer. I hate colds in the summer. They shouldn't even be called colds in the summer.

Rant: trying to convince myself to NOT buy another new dress for fancy date night.
Rave: will end up buying a new dress!

Rant: For some reason there is no Shakespeare in the Park tonight.

If you had trek'd there at 9AM, you would have seen no line and then found flyers stating "no show tonight".

Rave: H & H Bagels.

Rave: I have been informed that I still get the point.

...so, when you think about it: 1 hour travel and then waiting online from 9 AM to 1 PM would have resulted in 1 point (meaning I would have earned .20 points an hour).

However, by traveling one hour, then discovering it was closed, my point to hour ratio is far higher. Almost 1:1.

I'm srs about this porkchop thing- if anyone is around my apt and wants to stop by I can wrap this shit up. I do NOT need to eat three porkchops at ANY point, even if its over 3 days
