Rave: I snuck out of work to an interview. My job is ok, I am justt bored out of my mind (hence the frequent posts).

Rant: The potential job sounds cool, but wouldn't start until new fiscal year, 7/1/09.

Rant: I worked 38 out of the last 48 hours and am friggin' spent.

Rave: I'm going to bed. Now.

Rant: woke up at 4am!!!!

Rant: Shake Shack UWS sucks ass. $11 for crappy frozen dry fries and a beer? Sigh.

Rant: I need a day drinking buddy. After 5 months of working at a sprinters pace we're finally down to a leisurely stroll...as a result, I'm done for the day. TIME TO GET WASTED!....alone. In my apartment.

The HR lady that laid me off was just laid off herself yesterday!

It is justice if she was smirking when she laid you off. Was she?

You gotta figure if her job is to lay people off, there now no longer a need for her now that there are less people to lay off.

Kinda like the airline could have less people at the complaint desk if they ran a better airline....

I think the finance department is taking over HR. They are seriously imploding at that place. I found out before I left who else was getting the axe and totally let everyone know yesterday at my going away party. People have to be prepared after all. There are about 7 more layoffs coming in the next months there.

I hope they made her wait until 4pm!

Jesus, stop screaming. That might work but I'm not sure if I know all the bars that are open on Sunday afternoons. But a drinking stroll down Smith would be fun. Let's gauge interest by others.

Rant: I've only found two crappy bars open on Smith Street on Sunday afternoon so Smith may have to be an evening crawl. Crawl must include Bar Below, Boat, Brooklyn Social and Zombie Hut (and Gowanus Yacht Club if it were open yet) and maybe Jake Walk, Clover Club and Char No. 4 - all of which open at 5 or 6pm......
