Hello All,

Our Medical sagas continue. I am now on Lovenox shots twice a day to maintain my INR in my blood. I would rather be on Canadian Club shots. My INR was still too low on Friday so I have to continue the injections along with heavy doses of Coumadin until I get up over a 2.0 INR.

Meanwhile, Carol went to her Gastro Dr. and now she has to go tomorow (MONDAY) to a hospital for a test to watch her food digest and pass through her stomach. They will cook a scrambled egg with an Isotope to assist in the tracking. She eats it and they watch on machines to see it go through the system....

What's next???I do not know. :bounce:

Been busy this weekend, trying to finsh up some painting (well my husband not me...LOL ) but keeping busy with other things around the house.

Good Morning everyone.Cody had his "spa" day yesterday..then I went to work...today is my "spa" day-hair appt.in an hour..then going over to the new house with Tina to see it for the first time..they're so excited...(me too!) they had a small 2BR townhome & this has 3 BRS, basement,2 car garage & a big backyard for Justin...beautiful out today..another 60 degree day..wish this would last all winter (LOL)...Warren-hope u & Carol feel better..congrats Patsy...hi to everyone I might have missed..MaryAnn-where are u? talk to u soon...bye

Hello All, Just a quick hello before the next Dr's visit. Still having trouble getting my PT/INR where the Dr's want it. Still getting shots of Lovenox in the belly. Carol got through her test yesterday. Have to wait for the results. :scratch:

Update--- My INR finally hit 2.2 and I can stop getting shots of Lovenox in the belly. My belly was big enough before but now it is all black and blue & swollen! I would not want to enter a bathing beauty contest. That is for sure. Between the bruises from the shots and the mess below the belly where they inserted the CATHERITAZATION wire, I am a complete mess. Bruises & black & blue all over the place.

Carol's test went okay. They forgot to tell her not to eat any breakfast and she ate a little, we had to wait for them to do the GASTRIC EMPTYING TEST. It was done and we await the results. #-o
