Patsy, I do not think it was your equipment. I think you hit the bottom of the page which has been a problem for quite awhile!

I remember when I was in my Senior year in Manual and I had an English teacher who informed us at the beginning of the term that if we did not pay attention to what she was going to teach us this year, we would fail the English Regents test and we would not get our regents Academic Diplomas. She was a tough teacher but did a great job of pounding things like proper grammer into our heads. She said that many teachers from grammer school up do not bother to really teach grammer and that the regents mark was heavily loaded towards prpoer grammer. Thanks to her I passed the Regents and got my Academic Regents diploma. It helped me get my first full time job and it was at Nabisco in Manhatten. The only falling out I had with the teacher was about the poem "A Rose is a Rose is a Rose". When she read it she noticed a look of distain on my face. She asked what I did not like about the poem. I told her that if this was not written by a known successful author, the poem would have been laughed at and discarded as trash. She told me that the problem was mine, not the poem and that my mind was poetically dead! I still appreciate what she did for the class and that through her efforts I graduated with my diploma! -Y

Warren....have no fear....many slept over and everyone else took cabs home. No one was allowed to drink and drive!!

Kati had a great time at her party but I'm still recovering from all the work!! lol and I still have a family party to do. I made sure everything was done then I left to go to dinner with my g/f.

Richard, Quite frankly I never heard of the L Train. Never spent any time in Williamsburgh. I lived on 12th Street between 5th & 6th Ave. Did extensive travelling to work in Manhatten on the F and the A train. F from 4th Ave & 9th Street to Jay Street-Borough Hall. There I changed to the A train. The other trains I used were mostly the 4th Ave Local, The West End & Sea Beach Lines. Bay Ridge & Coney Island were two of my usual destinations.

Anna, I know the feeling. I had to sign the papers years ago for our dog Ralph. He was about 13 years old and the Vet kept him overnight to try and save him but they called the next morning to tell me that Ralph was suffering and they could not save him. After I signed the papers, and kissed him goodbye, I walked home and cried all the way home. After a few days I reconciled myself to the fact that what I did was the humane thing. Who wants something or someone you love to suffer. I still have pictures of him and nothing but good memories.

Debbie, glad the party went well with no problems. Hope your family party goes well also.

Patsy, I left Nabisco in 1961 so you do not have to remember me by that. Remember me by the Bar Codes you get on your mail. That is what I worked on for the Post Office for many years!

My Grandson Salvatore turned eight months old yesterday!!

Hello everyone..thank u for the kind words re: Cody's passing..I'm sad but realize I didn't want him to suffer..Richard, you are right..re:the video-what happened to the Brooklyn accent..I'm here in Illinois almost 27 years-and I still have my accent..Debbie-your daughter is beautiful and Judy your grandson could be a model-too cute..going to watch Justin today & tonite-that will make me happy..Warren-hope u & Carol are doing well..hi Patsy..can't believe Williamsburg is such a hot spot now. had such a bad rep.for years..have a nice day....bye

Patsy, you are lucky I live so far away otherwise I would be knocking on your door asking "What time do we eat". I love Corned Beef & Cabbage. We will go to a local restauant and have some for dinner but there is nothing like home made.For two people it is not worth all the fuss and the cuts are usually too large.

Carol & I are feeling okay. Had our first showing the other day. Thought it went well but have not heard anything. Our agent feels that with all the improvements we made it should sell at the price listed or very close to it. There are a LOT of homes for sale here so we have a lot of competition.

Debbie, I hope you had a big club to hold the boys back! The girls are beautiful. [-X
