Hello All, I am still hanging in there. Another rehab day. Went to Primary Doc today. He was very pleased that I am following up with all the specialists he recommended. Still hurting some and today was a bit of a down day for me. Just did not feel right. At this age when the Doctors poke, prod, cut and anethesize you what can I expect. Thursday we will be in Brandon FL for tests ordered by the Thyroid Doctor then on Friday I will see the Cardiologist who implanted the Pacemaker. The beat goes on!Carol hates to drive, especially out of town. Fortuneatly we have a group called Samaritan Services. They will provide a car & driver to take us to Brandon for the tests. The following wek they will do the same thing to get us to the Endocrinologists office in Brandon. After that I should be allowed to drive again. Love to all. 8-[

Hi everyone..Patsy-congrats to Toniann-what an achievement-u must be so proud!!Warren-glad you're coming along fine..well, it was crazy weather here..2 days ago it was 63-yesterday it was in the 20's..with snow on & off for the last 2 days..when I left work today it was 8 degrees..tonight down to 0 with wind chills of -20 degrees..is it Spring yet? Getting my taxes done on Saturday..love my weekends off now..I sleep until 9-9:30..getting so lazy but I love it..well, good night everyone..talk to u soon.....bye

Hello All. Happy Sunday!

Doctors visits Thursday & Friday went well. Will get results of the tests ordered by the Endocinologist this Thursday. My Friday appointment with the Cardiologist went very well. He is very pleased with the progress and he did an EKG and said the Pacemaker is working as programmed. Still can not drive for another week. He also asked us to postpone the Colonoscopy I was supposed to get for another month. He is being very cautious.

Patsy, what fantastic news you keep getting about your Daughter's future. Looks like she is in a win-win situation. Hope she can hold off deciding about the St John's offer until she gets a definite answer about Columbia. Have not seen any news down here about the strike. Hope it ends promptly with the employees getting enough to make the strike worth it.

Debbie, if you really want to feel aged wait until they graduate from College. My Grandaughter will graduate from Stockton State in NJ this June and one of my Grandsons will graduate from John Jay College next fall/winter.

Anna, put your long Johns on and settle in until April or May when it will even warm up in Illinois!

Judy, when is your grandson going to start modeling? He is a doll!

Pretty cold out there with snow heading our way. Last I heard about 6-10 inches. Guess I'll be running to the store for milk like all the other crazies lol

Hello All, Got back from the Endocrinologist a little while ago. Good results for the most part. he wants to do a Biopsy of my Thyroid but must wait for the Cardiologist to give okay to go off Warfarin for 4 or 5 days. I told him to get in line. The Gastroenterologist is waiting for the same okay to do a Colonoscopy. Hey you snow lovers. I came to Florida to get away from the snow!!! To each his or her own!!! :?:

People in the NE. Please fogive me for rubbing it in. Forcast for Tampa Bay Area today: High 78 Low 58 Sunny and warm.

Carol talked to her sister in Long Island this AM. Not near as bad as TV guys are saying. She is in Amityville and got about 12". No power outages and no more snow! Looks like Connecticut and Massachusetts are getting the worst of it.

Finishing up a book about the life of Gill Hodges my son gave me for Christmas. He was an amazing man as well as a great baseball player and manager. He loved Brooklyn and lived there with his family for many years. O:)
